Spexton Wedding Band FAQ

How long will it take for my order to be made?

Spexton Ring Orders: We currently have a 2-3 WEEK wait time before your ring order will leave our studio. Some of our rings can be made faster with the purchase of RUSH service for an additional $50.

If you have an upcoming event and are concerned with timing, please contact us before ordering to discuss your needs by emailing sales@spexton.com or calling 1-844-SPEXTON (1-844-773-9866). Custom orders of items not listed online my require additional production time.

How long does the shipping take once my order leaves the studio?

Shipping times will vary depending on your location and the shipping courier and service you choose upon checkout. We offer free shipping within the United States via USPS or UPS on all orders over $100, as well as expedited shipping options via Fedex and UPS.

What are the refund and exchange policies?

 

RING RETURNS:

As we handcraft every ring, we do NOT accept returns of our rings for a full refund under ANY circumstance.

Having handcrafted thousands of rings over almost 2 decades, we know that our high commitment to service, quality, thousands of 5 star reviews across the web, and attention to detail cannot prevent break-ups, which is virtually the ONLY reason we ever hear when a customer wants to completely and abruptly return our otherwise perfectly made ring.

Simply put, if you get dumped and don't need your ring we are very sorry, but we absolutely cannot refund our work and asking us to do so is unethical and amoral. You may pay the exchange fee and exchange the ring for a different size or style assuming it is NOT engraved, but you may NOT return it for a refund.

RING SIZE EXCHANGE FEES:

If you ordered one of our Ring Size Test kits before you placed your ring order, you then ordered your actual ring in one of the exact size/width combos in your test kit, you may re-size the ring for free within the first 30 days of ownership assuming it is NOT engraved. After 30 days the fees below will apply. We highly recommend taking advantage of the Ring Size Test Kit service so that you can find the best fit and hopefully save you time, stress, and money.

If you did NOT purchase the Ring Size Test kit and ordered the incorrect size and your ring is NOT engraved then the following exchange fees apply:

Rings WITHOUT gold or diamonds: 35% Re-Size Fee
Rings WITH gold or diamonds: 50% Re-Size Fee

Again: ENGRAVED RINGS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED--ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON ENGRAVED RINGS.

Example 1: If you purchase a solid titanium band for $199 and need to change the size, you will owe $69.65 for this service.

Example 2: If you purchase a titanium band that features a gold stripe for $389 and need to change the size you will owe $194.5 for this service.

RING STYLE EXCHANGE INFO AND FEES:

You may exchange your purchase for a different item within the first 14 days of ownership for a fee equal to 50% of the original purchase price of your item. ENGRAVED RINGS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED--ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON ENGRAVED RINGS.

Example: If you purchase a ring for $199 and want to exchange it for a different item, you will be given a store credit of $99.5 (or 50% of the value of your ring) towards the new item you want.

How do I determine my ring size?

This is the most important aspect of your purchase. DO NOT simply guess your ring size, and don't use an online printable sizing guide--it won't work at all.

To get an INITIAL idea of what size you THINK you will need, it is best visit at least 2 professional jewelers or jewelry counters on DIFFERENT DAYS to have your finger sized. Keep in mind that the width of the ring will also influence how the ring fits, so it is best to know how wide you want your ring to be before visiting the jeweler.

Making more than one visit to a different jeweler will give you a better result, as our fingers FLUCTUATE depending on many factors such as diet, weather, alcohol intake, medications, etc.

Once you have an initial idea of the size you think you need, we absolutely recommend adding our ring test size kit to your order because: Over 75% of our customers who order the test size kit end up choosing a TOTALLY DIFFERENT SIZE than what they were told they needed by their jewelers after they have worn our test size rings.

THIS MEANS: After you visit 2 jewelers to get your size, there is still a 75% chance you don't know your correct size!

How do I determine my ring width?

Many of our bands are available in several widths. Width will affect the fit of your ring--the wider the band, the tighter the width. If, for example, you wear a size 9 in a 3mm band, you'll probably wear a 9.5 or larger if you choose an 8mm band.

What makes Spexton rings unique?

Our wedding bands are fabricated in the United States entirely in our machine shop in Tulsa, OK. We utilize both low-tech and high-tech machinery, and employ talented artisans and bench jewelers to create the highest quality, most unique band options available utilizing innovative, modern materials.

All of our fine jewelry is cast in the USA from recycled metals, and expertly set and polished by our master jeweler and his team, providing Spexton customers with the attention to detail and design only available with American made jewelry.

Can I send back my ring for resurfacing / repair?

Yes! We offer free lifetime cleaning, resurfacing, and repairs on all of our products.
